Joy to Everyone This Christmas

I love the Christmas season! My kids and I enjoy watching this video every year before Christmas. Each time we watch it, I can't help feeling the love my Savior has for me. What beautiful people our Heavenly Father has created across the globe! I hope that each of us can feel the love of our Heavenly Father and our Savior this Christmas. I truly believe that they know and care about each one of us.

Piano Recital Cookies

I made these cookies for a piano recital at my house. They are sugar cookies with pink marshmallow fondant and glace icing for the piano keys and treble and bass clefs. Next time, I think I would use black icing for the treble and bass clefs because they're kind of hard to see.

A couple of months ago I made a whole bunch of doodles and sketches of cake ideas for a piano recital cake. I don't know if I'll ever end up making any of these cakes because I decided to go with a different design for the recital (which I'll post later in December). At any rate, I had a lot of fun sketching these.
